The Project

About This Project

For families in Haripur's distant settlements, an emergency is a double crisis — the illness itself, and the impossibility of reaching a hospital in time. Private ambulances charge what a week of wages cannot cover. The KTS Ambulance Service exists so that no one loses a life to a transport bill.

Our ambulance runs day and night, staffed by trained attendants and stocked with oxygen and first-aid equipment. The service is completely free — fuel, staff and maintenance all come from community donations.

Our Work

What KTS Welfare Does

More than a vehicle — a complete emergency response.

Round-the-Clock Dispatch

One call connects to our duty driver any hour of the day or night — no paperwork before the patient is moving.

Trained Attendants

Every shift includes a trained first-aid attendant who stabilizes the patient en route to hospital.

Equipped Vehicle

Oxygen, stretcher, blankets and emergency kits are checked at every shift change, so the ambulance is always ready.

Hospital Coordination

We maintain contacts at partner hospitals so patients arrive expected — and treatment starts the moment they do.

Families Stories

Rides that arrived exactly when they were needed most.

“

My father had a heart attack at 2 a.m. I called KTS not expecting anyone to answer. The ambulance was at our door in fifteen minutes — they didn't ask for a single rupee.

“

My labor pains started a month early and we had no way to reach the hospital. The KTS driver drove gently the whole way and waited until the doctors took me in. Both of us are safe because of that ride.
